LIGURIAN PASTELS

Un insieme di linee e colori tipici della Liguria.
Da sempre la Terra di Liguria è stata attenta ai colori delle abitazioni. Non si conosce il motivo certo di questa peculiarità che caratterizza le abitazioni vicine al mare. Pare sia dovuto all’intenzione dei marinai di colorare con colori intensi la propria casa così che si potesse scorgere dal largo e dirigersi con sicurezza verso la propria dimora in epoca dove i gps non esistevano ancora.
E’ una spiegazione affascinante quanto eterea e come tale va presa, ma ciò non toglie il fatto che il colore delle abitazioni liguri hanno da sempre affascinato gli ospiti di questa terra e non solo.
Sono colori che richiamano i pastelli ed è per questo che il titolo di questa raccolta è: “LIGURIAN PASTELS” (Pastelli Color Liguria)

The land of Liguria has always been attentive to the colors of the houses. The certain reason for this peculiarity that characterizes the houses near the sea is not known. It seems to be due to the intention of the sailors to color their homes with intense colors so that they could be seen from the sea and head safely towards their homes in an era where gps did not yet exist.
It is a fascinating and ethereal explanation and should be taken as such, but this does not detract from the fact that the color of Ligurian houses has always fascinated guests of this land and beyond.
They are colors that recall pastels and that is why the title of this collection is: “LIGURIAN PASTELS”
